Bush-hogged the trails around the farm yesterday.   The AC D17 is a bit wider than the 4400 and there were some pretty tight spots, but no chain sawing of trees was required to free the tractor.
Yesterday, discovered my first Deer Tick of the season embedded on my leg.   A couple hours in I suspect, and well attached.  Hadn't started feeding.   Nasty buggers.  Went to Urgent Care to consult.   They didn't seem concerned (Sure its not their leg) but consented to a couple of antibiotic pills.   Will skip that visit in the future and just request the antibiotic.  After seeing what Lyme does to people, the preemptive strike seems prudent.  May have to start a Trophy wall where I display the ticks I've captured.

Time to return to this form of catharsis and sharing.  Read if it moves you.

This Morning while walking up the lane in the dark, heading for my tree stand, and wearing my new cap light from Browning, the beam to the East showed something reflecting from Ian's woods.   Took a second to realize 4 deer were looking at me puzzling out the light.   The light was not sufficient to light up the background near the deer, but their eyes reflected the light back perfectly so that there were just the 4 pairs of very bright 'demon' eyes floating in the blackness.   Nice!
